All you need to do is right click on the desktop icon of the game your trying to run through the launcher. Go down to properties, it should be the last option on the drop down. Go to the compatibility tab. Where it says Compatibility mode, make sure the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for: is checked, click on the drop down and select Windows 7. This should fix all your problems.

Heres what worked for me. Go imti aion file. Find file aion.bin Rename it ro aion.bin.old That fixed it for me. Have to do it every week now with updates. Good luck!

Similar here. I was curious to come back into AION. I downloaded the client, installation started. Then you are asked to login. I enter my user/password and the window closes without any message or reason. I guess I will try later.

Load the 359.06 driver, the new driver provides bugs with Aion. load the older driver and Aion works.

The same thing happened to me. I think it is just a bug with the most recent update. They may have tweaked the graphics or something, making them incompatible with older or less powerful graphics cards

Try not to do auto-lunch and do a file repair. Then press the play once file repair is done. This was my only work around.

Well-timed use of the HP bombs will help, but if you are a class with low def like gunner etc, you must try to aggro as little as possible, run away until hp bomb time resets and use it. So, you must clean the path so you can fly down and use scrolls to run.

What the quest needs to update probably was the iron that you can't mine now, but try going at entrance of Tursin area in Verteron and look for the iron vein which looks like a spike and start gathering it and see if it updates the quest.

Do a lot Mantor and take all quests for it. Xp now is easier to get with <Lodas Amulet> etc.

You might wanna try Steel Rake with a mentor or make someone hold party for you. Otherwise you should farm mobs in Bakarma Barracks or Brusthonin.

I've had difficulty with <Daily: Ancient Fossils> too. I found the ancient fossil in the area around Mantor. It was a small white object on the ground.

I finished that quest line about 2 week before. It took me a week to get the title. Tears of Luck can be gathered from Theobomos Lunime (I tried in ingisson but no avail) You can also do the Tears of Luck run, which I also did in theobomos every 11pm-1am<10minutes> gametime (same spot, 3Marked location there)

I have Exactly the same problem. In contact to NCSoft supprt for more then 2 weeks trying to solve it, and nothing until now. Used game advisor, sent tons of information to them, tried disabling everything that could be causing this and again nothing. I have to try more than 40 times to log in, if I don't give up before. I'm really pissed off with this situation. If you find out what to do pls post it here.

Run RB (Rentus Base), don't forget to take quests that are in front of the instance - they are repeatable. Other than that try no afk dredges (or do the quests at least), tons of XP there as well. BT duo is a decent option as well or RB duo. But I agree that there are no quests to help you lvl up between 61-65, you just need to spam instances whole day which sucks mightily. I've been lvling SW after the recent patch and it's been a nightmare.

The last two dps skills in Agonizing tree are cast time, so for PVP they're (close to) useless in my experience. ToS won't be very useful indeed in pvp but it works for pvpve like 6v6 and 12v12 to CC mobs or maybe even lock a silence after sleep or something like that
